The consuming fire 

To burn away all that is not like you. My spirit versus my flesh.  

How often I strayed from your essence and truth. Ready were you to envelop me in your accepting embrace despite each fleeting step.  

Fear shackled itself around my wrists binding me with an unwavering strength. Replacing peace with devastation. Joy with numbness. Life with crippling death. 

I AM WHO I AM: Exodus 3: 14-15

Through constant revelation, you remind me that fear has no place in this heart where you reside. 

You are FATHER, HEALER, PROTECTOR, PROVIDER, SHELTER, SANCTUARY. 

A child forever promised to his kingdom tasked to carry this God-given light. This orange rose is ready to ABIDE.
