My name is Adrianne Munroe. I’m an empathy-led storyteller, community nurturer, and artist with an inner child named Joy. My purpose within everything I do is to feed the soul, nurture the mind, and heal the hearts of others.

For any questions or inquiries, contact me.

I’m based in New York, but would love nothing more than to be back at my grandma Lily’s house in my second home, Jamaica.

Adrianne’s purpose bloomed from a deeply rooted love and commitment to nurturing people. To kindle their joy, cherish their inner child, honor their dreams, uplift their unique story, care for their wellness and healing, and accompany them on their journey of blooming—embracing the fullness of who they are. To uplift underrepresented voices is to hold space for untold stories. This responsibility anchors her joy of honoring the community surrounding her, preserving ancestral legacy, and the power of advocacy. Stories are the lifeline of our humanity, nourishing seeds of soul, culture, and tradition as they breathe life into the essence of inspiration.

Creativity is the wellspring of Adrianne’s work and mission. Through her art, she also explores what it means to live as an unapologetic Black woman. Breathing life into her experiences with mental health, abuse, grief, faith, self-worth, identity, healing, and surrounding freedom make up the fabric of her poetry, her first love and form of expression. This exploration has poured into her newly aligned outlets of creativity. Harnessing these experiences allows her the space to advocate for the sacred narratives of other Black women who forever deserve the utmost abundance of love, to be heard, and respected. It is a gentle reminder that joy is our birthright. These are the intentions continuously blossoming within her heart.

As Adrianne shares her story, she aspires to give others the hope and joy to do the same. Joy is the name of her inner child. Adrianne's joy is in no way perfect. It is the type of childlike joy that likes to play hide and seek in the face of growing struggle. When found, it is the one thing that keeps her grounded and reminds her that she is simply healing. Joy evokes a constant reassurance that she is okay. If her younger self, who had two missing front teeth with bobo's and beads in her dense natural hair, could see her today, she would be immensely proud.

“Feed the Soul. Nurture the Mind. Heal the Heart.”

—Adrianne Munroe

Grounded in mental health and wellness, feeding the soul serves as a reminder that speaking life into ourselves is vital for our soul to flourish. Anchored in advocacy, nurturing the mind acknowledges that everything we do is connected to the seeds of our inner child—the childlike version of ourselves that guides us in remembering that joy is our portion. Centered in healing, healing the heart nourishes the truth that our worth and value in this life are not defined by our traumas and struggles. While our traumas shape and mold us in certain ways, they do not define the entirety of who we are. Healing is a lifelong journey, unique like the growth of a garden, requiring patience and care. It is the act of tending to ourselves with compassion, as we deserve the same nurturing we offer others.

Today, Adrianne continues to look forward to stepping into atmospheres where growth and creativity are a priority. She is currently blossoming into a career grounded in storytelling, community, and advocacy while working toward publishing her second poetry book.
